Rotate PDF Pages and Keep the Fix

Turn single pages or all pages in 90° steps and save the new orientation into the file permanently. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Turn pages the right way up and save the change permanently. Rotate single pages by 90° in either direction, or rotate every page at once. Unlike rotating the view in a PDF reader, the saved file opens correctly everywhere.

Step by step

  1. Upload the PDF: Thumbnails show the current orientation of each page.
  2. Rotate pages: Use the left and right arrows under a page, or Rotate all left / Rotate all right for the whole document.
  3. Check the preview: Thumbnails turn to show the new orientation.
  4. Save: Click Rotate PDF. The file downloads with "-rotated" in its name.

Handy for

Sideways scans

Fix pages that a scanner or phone captured in the wrong orientation.

Mixed orientations

Turn landscape tables so they read upright alongside portrait text.

Upside-down pages

Rotate twice to flip a page by 180°.

Presentation printouts

Prepare landscape slides for on-screen reading.

Good to know

  • Rotation is stored as page metadata, so text, images and links are untouched.

  • To reorder or delete pages at the same time, use Reorder Pages.

  • If you want a mirror image rather than a rotation, use Page Mirror.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and the result is created on your device.

Is the rotation permanent?

Yes. The saved PDF keeps the new orientation in every reader.

Can I rotate by 45°?

No — PDF page rotation only supports multiples of 90°.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Nothing is re-rendered.
