Merge PDF Files into One, Right in Your Browser
Join two or more PDFs into one file in the order you set, copying every page without re-encoding it. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.
Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Combine two or more PDFs into a single document, in the order you choose. Every page from every file is copied into merged.pdf, and the whole job runs inside your browser — your documents never leave your computer.
If the merged file ends up too large to email, run it through Compress PDF afterwards. To rearrange or drop individual pages, open the result in Reorder Pages.
Step by step
- Add your PDFs: Drop two or more PDF files onto the upload area, or click it to browse. You can add more files at any time — they are appended to the list.
- Put them in order: Drag a file by its handle, or use the up and down arrows next to it. The file at the top becomes the first pages of the result.
- Remove anything you don't need: Click the × next to a file to take it out of the list.
- Merge: Click Merge into one PDF. The button becomes active once at least two files are listed.
- Save the result: merged.pdf downloads automatically, and a message confirms how many pages it contains.
Handy for
Job applications
Put a cover letter, CV and certificates into one file so a recruiter opens a single attachment.
Expense claims
Collect a month of receipts and invoices into one PDF for your finance team.
Scanned documents
Join pages that a scanner saved as separate files back into one document.
Reports and packs
Combine a cover page, the main report and appendices exported from different apps.
Good to know
Name files with a leading number (01, 02, 03…) before adding them — the list keeps the order you add them in, so pre-sorted names save dragging.
Need to interleave front and back scans instead of stacking them? Use Interleave Pages.
Bookmarks and form fields from the source files are not carried into the merged file. Merge first, then add page numbers with Number Pages if you need navigation.
A file that needs a password to open must be unlocked first with Drop Password.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and the result is created on your device.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
There is no artificial limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, since every file is held in the browser while merging.
Will the quality of my pages change?
No. Pages are copied as they are — text, fonts and images are not re-encoded, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I merge only some pages from a file?
Not in one step. Pull the pages you want into a new file with Keep Pages, then merge that file.
Why can't I click Merge?
You need at least two files in the list.
