OGG to MP3 Converter — Opus & WhatsApp Audio to MP3

Convert OGG, Opus and WhatsApp voice notes into MP3 files that play everywhere. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

OGG files contain Vorbis or Opus audio — WhatsApp and Telegram voice notes are usually Opus. Plenty of software can't play them. Convert OGG, OGA and OPUS files to MP3 here, entirely on your device.

Step by step

  1. Upload OGG or Opus files: Drag in .ogg, .oga or .opus files (exported voice notes work).
  2. Choose a bitrate: 128 kbps is ample for voice notes.
  3. Convert: Click Convert to MP3.

Questions

Which formats can I open?

Anything your browser can decode: MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG (Vorbis and Opus), FLAC, WEBM and AIFF on most systems — and the soundtrack of MP4, MOV or WEBM videos. Very unusual codecs (for example AMR or WMA) usually can't be read.

Are my audio files uploaded anywhere?

No. Decoding, editing and encoding all happen inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab discards everything you haven't downloaded.
