Step by step

  1. Open the workbook: Drop the spreadsheet onto the upload area. It’s read in the background, so even big workbooks don’t freeze the page.
  2. Pick a sheet: Use the tabs above the table — each shows its row count; hidden sheets are marked.
  3. Sort, search and filter: Click headers to sort, use Search all cells, or open Column filters.
  4. Export: Export CSV or Export Excel saves the rows currently shown.

Questions

Does it run macros?

No. Macros (VBA) are never executed; only cell values are read.

Can it open password-protected workbooks?

No — remove the password in Excel first (File → Info → Protect Workbook). The tool tells you when a file is protected.

Does it support Apple Numbers?

Simple .numbers files often open; complex ones may not. Export to XLSX from Numbers for the best result.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and processed by your browser on your own device — nothing is sent to a server, logged or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
