Step by step

  1. Add fonts: Drop one or more .ttf, .otf, .woff or .woff2 files. Each shows its details and a live preview.
  2. Choose outputs: Tick WOFF2 (best for websites), WOFF and/or TTF / OTF (desktop).

Good to know

  • WOFF2 is supported by every modern browser — WOFF is only needed for very old ones.

  • TrueType fonts come out as .ttf and CFF (PostScript) fonts as .otf; outlines are never converted.

  • Check the licence line shown under the preview — many fonts allow desktop use but not web embedding.

Questions

Does conversion change how the font looks?

No. WOFF and WOFF2 are compressed wrappers around the same font data; converting back gives the same tables.

Can I convert TTF to OTF?

Only the container, not the outline type. TrueType outlines stay TrueType (saved as .ttf).

Can I subset a font?

Not yet — the whole font is converted.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened and processed by your browser on your own device — nothing is sent to a server, logged or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
