DXF to PDF Converter — Vector PDF, Free
DXF to PDF Converter: view AutoCAD DXF drawings with layers, pan and zoom, and export them to SVG, PNG or vector PDF.
Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
View AutoCAD DXF drawings in your browser: lines, arcs, circles, polylines (including curved segments), ellipses, splines, text and blocks, with layers you can switch on and off, pan and zoom. Export what you see to SVG, PNG or a vector PDF.
Step by step
- Open the drawing: Drop an ASCII .dxf file onto the upload area. The size, units and layer count are shown.
- Pan and zoom: Drag to move, scroll or pinch to zoom, Fit to see everything. Keys: + − and 0.
- Choose layers: Untick layers under Layers to hide them; exports follow your choice.
- Export: Export SVG for editing, Export PDF (vector) for printing and sharing, or Export PNG at the width you set.

Good to know
DWG files can’t be opened in the browser with open-source tools — export them to DXF from your CAD program.
Binary DXF isn’t supported; save as ASCII DXF.
Hatches, 3D solids and embedded images aren’t drawn — the tool lists anything it skipped.
Questions
Is the PDF to scale?
The drawing is fitted to an A4 page (landscape or portrait). Lines stay vectors, so it stays sharp at any zoom.
Why are some lines black when they’re white in AutoCAD?
White (colour 7) is drawn in a dark ink so it shows on a white page, just as CAD programs print it.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and processed by your browser on your own device — nothing is sent to a server, logged or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
