Calcola i giorni lavorativi: count working days in Italy between two dates, or add working days to a date, without weekends and the Italian national holidays.

Add your town’s patron saint day as an extra day off — it’s a holiday for everyone working in that comune. Holidays falling on a Sunday are not moved.

Working days in a whole year, Monday to Friday with public holidays removed — 2026: 254 in Italy · 2027: 254 in Italy.

Step by step

  1. Keep Italy selected: Italy is preselected — you can switch to any other country in the list.
  2. Enter the dates: For a count, pick the start and end dates and choose whether the end date counts. To find a deadline, switch to Add or subtract days and enter the number of working days.
  3. Set your week: Choose the weekend days (Saturday and Sunday by default) and type any extra days off — local holidays, a shutdown, leave — one per line.
  4. Check the holidays used: Under the result, every public holiday in the range is listed with whether it was a day off, on a weekend or counted as a working day.

Questions

Does the patron saint’s day count?

Yes, for anyone working in that comune — it’s a public holiday there. Add it as an extra day off, for example “2027-06-29 San Pietro e Paolo” for Rome.

How many working days are there in a year in Italy?

Counting Monday to Friday and removing public holidays — 2026: 254 in Italy · 2027: 254 in Italy. Extra days off you add come on top.

Is the start date counted?

When counting between two dates, the start date is always included and the end date only if “Include the end date” is ticked. When adding working days, the start date itself is not counted.

Is anything sent to a server?

No. The holiday rules and every calculation run in your browser, and the PDF, calendar file and CSV are made on your device. Nothing you type — dates, extra days off — leaves it.
