Turn PowerPoint Slides into PDF Pages

Draw each .pptx slide as a PDF page at its own size, with selectable text and a list of anything skipped.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Turn a .pptx presentation into a PDF with one page per slide, at the presentation's own slide size. Text, theme colours, backgrounds, bullets and numbering, common shapes, pictures, groups and tables are drawn, and the text stays selectable.

Some content can't be drawn in the browser: charts, SmartArt, video, EMF/WMF graphics, shadows and rotated text are left out, freeform shapes are drawn as plain boxes, and gradients become a single colour. After converting, the tool tells you what it skipped.

Step by step

  1. Upload the presentation: Drop a .pptx file onto Upload a PowerPoint file. Old .ppt files must be saved as .pptx first.
  2. Hidden slides: Tick Include hidden slides if you want them in the PDF.
  3. Convert: Click Convert to PDF.
  4. Check the summary: The message lists how many slides were converted and anything that was not included.

Handy for

Handouts

Share a deck with people who don't have PowerPoint.

Submitting presentations

Upload slides to a conference or course portal that asks for PDF.

Printing

Print slides reliably, then use N-up Sheets for compact handouts.

Archiving

Keep a fixed record of a pitch as it was presented.

Good to know

  • If a chart is missing, paste it into the slide as a picture (PNG) in PowerPoint before converting.

  • Speaker notes aren't included.

  • For the most faithful result with complex slides, check the skipped-items message and adjust only those slides.

Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read and processed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and the result is created on your device.

Is the text in the PDF selectable?

Yes. Text is placed as real text, not as a picture, so you can search, select and copy it. The exceptions are Devanagari, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and emoji characters, which are drawn as tiny images so they look right — those can't be selected.

Are animations kept?

No. PDF pages are static; each slide is drawn in its final state.

Why is a shape missing or boxy?

Charts, SmartArt and EMF/WMF graphics can't be drawn by this converter, and freeform shapes are replaced by plain boxes. The completion message lists them.
