Step by step

  1. Add your Markdown: Type or paste it into the Markdown box, or click Upload file to open a .md file. A sample is there to start with.
  2. Choose options: Tick GitHub-flavoured, Line breaks become <br>, Remove unsafe HTML and Full HTML page as needed.
  3. Check the preview: Under Show, Preview displays the rendered page; HTML code shows a larger view of the source.
  4. Copy or download: Click Copy or Download on the HTML box.

Which Markdown flavour is supported?

CommonMark with GitHub extensions (tables, strikethrough, autolinks) when GitHub-flavoured is ticked.

Is raw HTML inside Markdown allowed?

Yes. With Remove unsafe HTML on, safe tags are kept and scripts, event handlers and similar risky code are removed.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Everything is processed by your browser on your own device — nothing you type or upload is sent to a server, so it is safe to use with private notes, drafts and work documents.
