CGPA Calculator — SGPA and CGPA on the 10-Point Scale

CGPA Calculator: calculate your US GPA (weighted and unweighted) or your Indian SGPA and CGPA on the 10-point scale, with credits and cumulative totals.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Two calculators in one. US GPA on the 4.0 scale, unweighted and weighted (Honors +0.5, AP/IB +1.0), with an optional cumulative GPA. India SGPA / CGPA on the UGC 10-point scale (O = 10, A+ = 9 … P = 4, F = 0): credit-weighted SGPA for a semester, then CGPA across semesters.

Step by step

  1. Choose the system: Pick US GPA (4.0 scale) or India SGPA / CGPA (10-point).
  2. Enter your courses: Add each course or subject with its grade and credits. Use + Add course / + Add subject for more rows.
  3. Read the result: Your GPA or SGPA updates as you type, with the formula shown.
  4. Cumulative: US: enter your current cumulative GPA and credits. India: list each semester’s SGPA and credits, or press Add this semester’s SGPA.

Questions

Does an A+ count as 4.3?

Here A+ and A are both 4.0, the most common US convention. Some schools use 4.3 — check yours.

Which Indian grading scale is used?

The UGC CBCS 10-point scale used by most universities. If yours differs, choose the closest grade or adjust credits.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser, and anything you save (decks, timetables, results) stays in this browser’s local storage on your device.
