Step by step
- Add employer details: Open Employer details and enter your organisation name, address, logo and (optionally) a signature image. They are saved for next time.
- Choose the month: Pick the Month. If the employee was not paid for the whole month, set Paid days and tick Reduce earnings for unpaid days.
- Enter the employee: Fill in the name, ID, designation and any optional details such as PAN, UAN or the last digits of the bank account.
- Enter salary components: Type amounts for each earning and deduction, or rename them and use Add earning / Add deduction for your own structure.
- Download: Check the live preview and the gross, deductions and net pay totals, then click Download PDF or Download Word (.docx).

Good to know
Your organisation name, address, logo and signature are entered once and reused by every document maker — fill them in on any of these tools and they appear in the others.
For bulk slips, click Download template (.csv) after setting your salary component names — the template columns follow them.
Show only the last four digits of a bank account (e.g. XXXX1234).
Show year-to-date totals assumes the same pay every month since April; leave it off if pay changed during the year.
Questions
Can I use this to make a document for someone else?
Only for genuine records you are authorised to issue. Creating false payslips, rent receipts or employment letters — for a loan, visa, tax claim or anything else — is forgery and cheating under Indian law and can be prosecuted. The tool shows this warning on every page for that reason.
How is loss of pay calculated?
When Reduce earnings for unpaid days is on, each earning is multiplied by paid days ÷ days in the month and rounded to the rupee. Deductions are kept exactly as you enter them.
Does it calculate PF, ESI or income tax?
No — enter the deduction amounts your payroll or accountant has worked out. The tool adds them up and shows net pay; it does not apply statutory rules.
Can I upload an Excel sheet for bulk payslips?
Yes. Upload filled sheet accepts CSV, XLSX, XLS or ODS. The first row must be the header row from the template; the tool checks every row and tells you which cell is wrong before creating anything.
Can I edit the document in Word?
Yes. Download Word (.docx) gives an editable file that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. The PDF is best for sending; the Word file is best if you need to change wording later.
Are my details uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is built in your browser. Your entries and organisation details are saved only in this browser on this device so you can come back to them; use Clear this form or Clear organisation details to remove them.
