Step by step
- Pick the unit: Choose how you measured under Measurements are in. For feet + inches, type feet.inches with two digits for inches: 10.06 for 10 ft 6 in, 10.11 for 10 ft 11 in.
- Enter each area: Give it a name, choose the Shape and enter its sides; set Count for identical rooms.
- Add more: Click Add area for each extra room or section.
- Optional extras: Enter Rate per sq ft for a cost estimate, or a Loading percentage to go from carpet to built-up area.
- Export: Download CSV saves the room-by-room breakdown.

Multiply length by width in feet. A 12 × 10 ft room is 120 sq ft.

What is carpet area?
The usable floor area inside the walls. Under RERA, flats must be sold on carpet area.
