Passport Size Photo Maker — 35×45 mm, White Background, Print Sheet
Crop a passport size photo to 35×45 mm or 2×2 inch at 300 DPI, whiten the background on your device and print several copies on a 4×6 sheet.
Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Make a passport-size photo from any picture: choose the size, position your face inside the guide, optionally replace the background with plain white or light blue, and download a 300 DPI photo or a print-ready sheet with several copies.
Background replacement runs on your device using Google's open MediaPipe selfie-segmentation model (Apache-2.0). Nothing is uploaded.
Step by step
- Upload a photo: Use a well-lit, front-facing photo. JPG, PNG, WEBP and iPhone HEIC files all work.
- Choose the size: Pick India passport / most Indian forms — 35×45 mm, 2×2 inch, stamp size, or enter a custom size in millimetres.
- Position your face: Drag the photo (or use the arrow keys) and zoom so your face sits inside the blue oval.
- Pick a background: Choose White or Light blue to replace the background, or Keep to leave it as it is. Check the edges around your hair in the preview.
- Download: Click Download photo for a single 300 DPI photo, or choose a sheet (4×6 in, 5×7 in or A4) and number of copies, then click Download print sheet for a JPG and a PDF.
Handy for
Passport and visa forms
Create the 35×45 mm or 2×2 inch photo the application asks for.
Printing at a photo shop
Take the 4×6 sheet to any print shop — one print gives you six 35×45 mm passport photos.
ID cards and admissions
Make stamp-size or custom-size photos for college, office or society ID forms.
Fixing a background
Turn a photo taken against a wall or a room into one with a plain white background.
Good to know
Print the PDF at 100% / Actual size, not "Fit to page", so each photo measures exactly the size you chose.
Background replacement works best with one person, good light and a background that contrasts with your hair and clothes.

Questions
What resolution is the photo?
300 DPI. A 35×45 mm photo is 413×531 pixels, which prints sharply at its real size.
Will it pass official checks?
The tool gets the size and background right, but rules on face size, expression, glasses and lighting are for you to follow. Check the official photo guidelines for your application.
How many photos fit on a 4×6 sheet?
Six 35×45 mm photos fit on a 4×6 inch sheet with cutting gaps (eight on 5×7 in, 30 on A4). The tool shows the maximum for each size and sheet.
Are my photos or numbers uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is processed by JavaScript in your browser tab — photos, signatures and the figures you type never leave your device.
