JFIF is simply a JPEG with a different file extension — some browsers save web images this way, and many upload forms refuse the .jfif name. JPG (JPEG) is the universal photo format: small files, no transparency, and some quality loss every time it is saved.

Many websites reject the .jfif extension even though the content is ordinary JPEG. This re-saves it as a standard .jpg.

Step by step
