Step by step

  1. Add your organisation: Enter your business details once.
  2. Challan details: Set the number, date, Purpose, vehicle number and transporter.
  3. Consignee: Enter who the goods are going to and, if needed, a delivery address.
  4. Items: List each item with quantity and unit. Tick Show prices if the challan should carry values.
  5. Download: Click Download PDF or Download Word (.docx), and print two copies — one for the receiver to sign.

  • Under GST, movement of goods above certain values may also need an e-way bill — this tool does not generate e-way bills.

Is a delivery challan a tax invoice?

No. A challan records the movement of goods; it is used where no sale invoice is issued yet (job work, transfers, approvals) or alongside one.

Can I edit the document in Word?

Yes. Download Word (.docx) gives an editable file that opens in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice. The PDF is best for sending; the Word file is best if you need to change wording later.

Are my details uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is built in your browser. Your entries and organisation details are saved only in this browser on this device so you can come back to them; use Clear this form or Clear organisation details to remove them.
