Step by step

  1. Pick a layout: Click a design under Design. Choose Language to use Hindi or Marathi titles.
  2. Add your photo: Click Add photo next to a photo frame under Text, then Remove background if you want a cut-out.
  3. Write the title: Edit the title and subtitle under Text. Text shrinks automatically to fit.
  4. Check the corner: Keep important text out of the red video-length box.
  5. Download: Choose JPG (under 2 MB) or PNG and click Download.

What size should a YouTube thumbnail be?

1280 × 720 pixels (16:9), under 2 MB, as JPG or PNG. This tool exports exactly that size, and its JPGs are kept under 2 MB.

Why did my PNG come out larger than 2 MB?

PNG is lossless, so photo-heavy thumbnails can be big. The tool warns you — choose JPG to stay under the limit.

Is there a watermark?

No.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything — fonts, rendering, background removal and the final file — is done in your browser. Your design is autosaved only in this browser's local storage.
