Rotate Image — Turn Photos 90°, 180° or Any Angle

Rotate photos by 90°, 180°, 270° or any custom angle, in bulk, without cutting anything off. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Fix sideways or upside-down photos, or straighten a slightly tilted horizon. Right-angle turns keep the original format; custom angles enlarge the canvas so no corner is cut off.

Step by step

  1. Add images: Upload one or many photos.
  2. Choose the rotation: Pick 90° right, 180° or 90° left, or drag Custom angle.
  3. Fill new corners: For custom angles, choose Transparent (PNG) or a colour for the new corners.
  4. Rotate: Click Rotate Images to download.

Handy for

Sideways phone photos

Correct pictures that show the wrong way round.

Scans

Turn upside-down scanned pages.

Tilted horizons

Straighten a landscape by a few degrees.

Batch fixes

Rotate a whole folder at once.

Good to know

  • After a small custom rotation you can trim the corners with Crop Image.

  • Photos are shown the right way up first (EXIF orientation is applied) so turns are predictable.

Questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every image is opened and processed inside your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab discards everything.

Does rotating lose quality?

Right-angle turns move pixels exactly. Re-saving a JPG applies normal compression at high quality.
