HEIC to JPG Converter — Free, Private, No Upload

Turn iPhone HEIC photos into standard JPGs that open on Windows, Android and the web. Free, no sign-up, and your files never leave your device.

Free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

HEIC (HEIF) is the format iPhones use for photos. It is compact, but Windows, Android and many websites cannot open it without help. JPG (JPEG) is the universal photo format: small files, no transparency, and some quality loss every time it is saved.

Converting iPhone photos to JPG makes them open on any computer, phone or website. Decoding HEIC takes a moment per photo, especially for large ones.

Step by step

  1. Add your images: Drop your HEIC files on Upload HEIC images, or click to browse. Other image types (PNG, JPG, HEIC, WebP, TIFF and more) are accepted too.
  2. Choose options: Set Quality — around 80–90% keeps photos looking the same at a much smaller size.
  3. Convert: Click Convert to JPG. Each image is decoded and re-saved in your browser.
  4. Download: One image downloads straight away; several download together as a ZIP. You can also download any single result from the list underneath.

Handy for

iPhone photos on Windows

Open and share photos that Windows Photos won’t show.

Government and exam forms

Upload portals almost always want JPG.

Sending to Android users

Avoid "file not supported" messages.

Online shops and marketplaces

Listing sites usually reject HEIC.

Good to know

  • To stop your iPhone saving HEIC, set Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.

  • Use Resize (optional) → Set width to shrink large photos at the same time — handy for email and upload limits.

Questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your images never leave your device, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Add as many images as you like. A single result downloads straight away; several results download together as a ZIP, and each one also has its own Download link in the results list.

Does it keep the photo’s location and camera details?

No. The converted JPG contains only the image, so EXIF metadata such as GPS location is not copied.

Live Photos?

Only the still image is converted.
